What's Behind the Dream ? - Where you can feel it feels to fly? Go to the past? Go to a very beautiful tourist spot? Or meet your idol? All could have happened in a dream. You will feel a very real sense when dreaming. Why do we dream ? What happens when dreaming ?


Dream is closely related to sleep. The occurrence of dreams and dream of what sometimes becomes a curious question, so you'll want to know what happens when we sleep.

Each fall asleep, we generally must be dreaming. Within 8 hours of sleep, the average person is having a dream for 100 minutes. Only, most of the dreams that occur do not remember. There are about 95% of dreams are not remembered. Dreams occur during REM sleep (Rapid Eye Movement) of a sleep cycle. While the dream that we remember the dream usually happens just before waking from sleep.



That causes us to experience the dream is the brain. As a center of activity, always got a message from the brain senses and regulates the activities of what will be done at the time did not sleep. For example the brain translates brown wall color, the brain helps identify the taste of food eaten, and many other roles of the brain.

At the time of sleep, the five senses of your body does not work, but the brain still works, even the brain are more active when we are dreaming than when we wake up and move. Therefore, the brain can create images of the imagination without any sensory role. This is a dream.

Interestingly, during dreaming, muscles in an inactive state, preventing us to play what was experienced in dreams. Although, the dream seemed so real but non-functioning of the muscles helps us not to injure themselves or others.



What caused me to dream like that? Maybe it's a question that is on your mind while dreaming about something. What would we dream depends on several things. Impression and it is very imprint in our memory when no sleep can be one factor. Routines which we live can also cause it to be our dream. For example, office work hard to make us dream about work.

Sometimes, we had a dream about the solution of problems faced. For example, we dream about the answer to an exam. This was evidence that during sleep, the thought process can still take place.

Dreams are often regarded as the flower bed is indeed something unique that accompanies sleep. Activities sleep itself is very important to repair the body's cells, dispose of substances that are not useful for the body and brain recover. Reorganisai ongoing brain and mental activity during sleep repair dream or REM sleep. That is why, if you lack sleep, the mind feels chaotic. Thus, sleep and dreams can refresh your mind.
